Terms & Conditions 2011

Trophies delivered to Magnum Taxidermy by the owner or their agent, are assumed by delivery that implied consent is given to Magnum Taxidermy for immediate processing to preserve the trophies and that these terms and conditions have been accepted.

Any work delivered to Magnum Taxidermy immediately undergoes basic processes: unique trophy identification by tag, skinning if required, vermin & insect protection & disease control. All bone & horn is cleaned & disinfected. All these processes require a charge to be made against any CANCELLED order and a storage fee of R20/animal per day.

Any item that does not have a 50% deposit paid to Magnum Taxidermy within 6 months will become the property of Magnum Taxidermy to dispose of as Magnum Taxidermy see fit.

A 50% non refundable deposit is required on all orders before work commences, excluding leather tanning which must be paid for in full prior to dispatch to specialist leatherworks.

All ‘Dip & Pack’ orders to be paid in full prior to processing.

Packing, documentation, insurance & transport costs are not included in our prices.

Trophies stored at owners risk.

Magnum Taxidermy is not responsible for hair-slip or bacterial damage. All items must be adequately prepared and salted in the ‘field’ and transported appropriately prior to arrival at Magnum Taxidermy.

All necessary permits, affidavits and/or hunting licences to be handed in with trophies.

Leather tanning charged at skin tan price plus 30% or as listed per sq ft price (only estimated on initial quote, final price on completion may be +/- depending upon finished product size).

Most orders will be completed within 6 months from receipt of 50% deposit of total cost; except in special circumstances (eg: large Full Mounts).

Orders to be paid for in full before being released from our premises. Only cash, bank cash deposits or cleared electronic funds transfer accepted. Prices subject to change without prior notice. No cheques accepted.

Orders not collected within 60 days of notification from Magnum Taxidermy by e-mail, fax, sms, letter or telephonically will be sold to defray expenses.
